Stay protected, wherever you run
Mitigate DDoS attacks wherever you run and keep your services protected.
Overview
Remote Protection lets you use PROJECT ELIV's DDoS mitigation network outside of PROJECT ELIV's own infrastructure.
Through tunneling, you can use PROJECT ELIV's DDoS mitigation service even outside PROJECT ELIV's data centers.
How it works
Tunnel protocols
Pick the protocol that fits your environment.
Both are open standards, so there's no extra hardware or agent to install.
Pricing
You're not billed for attack traffic that was mitigated, or for the small amount that slips through during mitigation.
This is an Enterprise product. Contact support for detailed pricing and to sign up.

FAQ
Traffic that has passed through DDoS mitigation and was actually delivered to you. Attack traffic, including the small amount that slips through during mitigation, doesn't count.
Setup usually takes 3 to 7 days from the time the contract is complete. After that, a dedicated engineer will run through testing with you.
No. Remote Protection doesn't work with public IPs you already own.
The service is only available on public IPs that belong to PROJECT ELIV.
If you own an IP prefix and announce routes over BGP yourself, take a look at Network > IP Transit instead.
Yes, but we don't recommend it.
Every packet is forwarded over GRE or WireGuard, so you'll get more stable performance and higher throughput on hardware with tunnel offload.
